Create memorable trial experiences that drive product sales at Target retail locations in key markets.

Strategy

Gotcha leveraged the brand’s alignment with college football and deployed three vehicles in Austin, TX and Norman, OK. Vehicles staged outside Target retail locations, engaged consumers in populated downtown areas, and sampled in tailgate areas prior to football games.

Success

Branded vehicles with cold product and high-energy brand ambassadors (dressed like Larry Culpepper) made a big impact at retail! Store-level data shows significant sales increases in both markets during the Gotcha promotional period. Gotcha distributed 6,432 full-size product samples over 6 activation days.
